PD Garment Blueprint for Sustainable Manufacturing:
More Than Just a Promise
At PD Garment, we believe sustainable manufacturing isn’t a single initiative; it’s the foundation of how we operate. For us, responsibility is woven into every thread, every process, and every partnership. We know the road ahead has challenges, but every day is an opportunity for advancing towards our goals. We’re building a future where quality apparel doesn’t come at the cost of our planet or people. And we’re doing it through a tangible, multi-layered approach that we’re proud to share:
✅ Our Commitment to People & Planet: Our SMETA and BSCI social audits aren’t just boxes to tick. They are our ongoing commitment to ethical supply chains, safe working environments, and fair labor practices. It’s the right thing to do, period.

✅ PD Garment’s Commitment to Safer Materials: The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification is our guarantee to partners that our fabrics are tested and free from harmful substances. It’s about trust, from our factory to the final consumer.
✅ Our Commitment to Circularity: Holding the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) allows us to champion the use of recycled materials, actively reducing waste and pushing the industry toward a circular model.

✅ PD Garment proudly upholds the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) standard, ensuring ethical labor practices, safe working conditions, and fair treatment throughout our supply chain. This commitment to people is reinforced by our SMETA audits.
🔬 But we knew we had to go further.
Certification is the baseline.
Sustainability is the journey!
That’s why PD Garment partnered with Ceravida technology, developing fabrics that balance exceptional softness and durability with a reduced environmental footprint from the very start of their lifecycle.
It’s why we’ve embraced Cold Dyed fabrics, a revolutionary process that slashes water and energy consumption dramatically compared to traditional dyeing methods. For us, beautiful color shouldn’t cost the earth. PD Garment’s shift to mills using Cold Dye fabric technology represents a fundamental transformation in our environmental impact, moving from a resource-intensive process to one of remarkable efficiency.
Where traditional dyeing methods consume a staggering 80-85 tons of water per batch, the Cold Dye process uses only 10 tons, achieving an extraordinary 90% reduction in water consumption and saving 70-75 tons of fresh water. The savings extend powerfully to energy: by adopting this process, we are contributing to the reduction of gas usage from 3.5-4 tons to just 1 ton per process, slashing energy footprint by 75%. This is a small commitment to redefining sustainable manufacturing, proving that vibrant color and quality fabrics can be achieved in profound harmony with our planet’s resources.
We are on a continuous path to deepen our impact. We’re passionate about partnering with brands who share our vision for a cleaner, more responsible fashion industry.
